Fr. James Goode, O.F.M., has retired from Solid Ground Ministry and the ministry is officially closed by the Province.  Fr. James has moved to Mary Manning Walsh Home, 1339 York Avenue, New York (Manhattan), NY 10021.  The Home is part of the Archdiocese of New York (Archcare) and is staffed by the Carmelite Sisters.  We are grateful to Fr. Jim for his many years of service to all, especially the African-American community, as well as all those who, through their sacrifce, support, and generosity, made this ministry possible.
