We entrust to your prayers, the repose of the soul of Mr. Joseph Czapla, beloved father of our brother, Friar Bruce Czapla, OFM, who was called peacefully home by God, in the early hours on Thursday, February 28, 2019 while under the care of the staff of Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, Massachusetts. Jospeh was 95 years of age (just shy of his 96th birthday in April.)

Joseph was predeceased by his wife Rita (Sullivan) and is survived by his two children, his daughter Darlene and husband Robert Dewhurst, and his son, Friar Bruce Czapla, O.F.M.
