OPENING OF OFM GENERAL CHAPTER 2021 On Saturday, 3 July 2021, the Order of Friars Minor formally inaugurated the General Chapter 2021, at the Collegio Internationale San Lorenzo da Brindisi (Rome), with the theme of Renewing Our Vision, Embracing Our Future. Inspired by the scripture passage, “Awake… and Christ will give you Light!” (Eph 5:14), this General Chapter is a sign and celebration of the fraternal fellowship of the whole Order. From 3-18 July 2021, the 117 Capitulars who are gathered will work together as brothers to uphold the patrimony and life of the Order, to discern how the Lord calls us to be renewed and to grow in service of the Gospel, and to elect the higher leadership of the Order for 2021-2027. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBz7RRgZ03s
